# अगरकर के कार्यकाल पर 2027 विश्व कप तक फैसला जल्द

बीसीसीआई की एपेक्स काउंसिल बैठक में मुख्य चयनकर्ता अजीत अगरकर के कार्यकाल को 2027 वनडे विश्व कप तक बढ़ाने पर चर्चा हो सकती है। उनका मौजूदा कार्यकाल सितंबर 2026 में खत्म होना है। जुलाई 2023 से चयन समिति की अगुआई कर रहे अगरकर के कार्यकाल में भारत ने 2024 और 2026 टी20 विश्व कप तथा 2025 चैम्पियंस ट्रॉफी जीती है। इन उपलब्धियों के बाद उन्हें पहले ही एक वर्ष का विस्तार मिल चुका है। आजतक के अनुसार, अगरकर ने 2027 विश्व कप तक बने रहने की इच्छा जताई है। श्रीलंका दौरे के बाद होने वाली बैठक में फैसला सम्भव है। बीसीसीआई के सामने उन्हें बनाए रखने या नया मुख्य चयनकर्ता नियुक्त करने का विकल्प है। फिलहाल स्पष्ट उत्तराधिकारी नहीं दिखने से विस्तार की सम्भावना मजबूत मानी जा रही है।
