रेनू धरियाल, उत्तराखंड की रहने वाली महिला, ने जीवित महिलाओं में सबसे लंबे बालों का गिनीज वर्ल्ड रिकॉर्ड बनाया है। उनके बालों की लंबाई 271.50 सेंटीमीटर (करीब 8 फीट 10 इंच) मापी गई। इसकी आधिकारिक माप अप्रैल में हल्द्वानी में हुई। रेनू ने 2015 से बाल नहीं कटवाए हैं। उनका कहना है कि भारतीय संस्कृति में लंबे बाल सौंदर्य, धैर्य और परंपरा का प्रतीक हैं। उन्होंने यूक्रेन की अलिया नासिरोवा का रिकॉर्ड तोड़ा, जिनके बाल 257.33 सेंटीमीटर लंबे थे। रेनू एक कंटेंट क्रिएटर और यूट्यूबर भी हैं।
