# Dog bites over 100 in Kalyan, civic body traps suspected animal

A stray white dog allegedly bit over 130 people in Kalyan's Adharwadi area on Sunday evening, with victims arriving at the KDMC-run Rukminibai hospital every two minutes over four hours, officials said. On Monday, 107 new cases were reported, up from the 58 logged on Sunday. KDMC teams have trapped two dogs suspected of the attacks and placed them under observation. Dr Deepa Shukla, medical health officer, confirmed 12 bite cases occurred on station premises. Personnel from two police stations joined the search for the white dog, which is still ongoing, the Hindustan Times reports.
