# Maharashtra extends MBBS, BDS registration; 14,086 get MBA seats

The Maharashtra CET Cell extended the MBBS and BDS registration deadline to August 15, 8 pm, as 33,949 candidates have registered so far. The first allotment list will be out on August 25. OBC and SEBC candidates get six months to submit caste validity certificates. Vacant CAP and institutional seats will now be filled online by the CET Cell, a change from last year. Separately, 14,086 students secured seats in the second CAP round for MBA/MMS courses, out of 27,799 who submitted preferences. Admissions must be confirmed between August 13 and 17. The 11,511 students who got one of their top three choices under auto freeze must take admission in the allotted college. Provisional vacant seats for the third round will be published on August 18.
