The deceased was identified as Malparthi Harshavardhan, and the injured as Boda Akhil and Mohd Irfan. According to police, the trio were carrying an iron frame that accidentally touched an overhead live wire near a Shiva temple. Harshavardhan died on the spot. The Bonalu festivities scheduled for August 9 and 10 were halted.
