# Telangana, Tripura begin Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls

Telangana Chief Electoral Officer C Sudharsan Reddy has appealed to citizens to submit enumeration forms for the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls by August 10. While the state achieved 100 per cent form distribution, only 77.86 per cent had been digitised by August 6 evening. The draft rolls will be published on August 17, with objections open till September 16. Final rolls come out on October 19. Tripura will begin its SIR on September 5, CEO Brijesh Pandey announced. Over 3,356 booth-level officers and 375 supervisors will conduct house visits from September 15 to October 14. The qualifying date for inclusion is October 1. Draft rolls will be released on October 21, claims and objections close on November 20, and the final roll on December 23.
