The autorickshaw was carrying 11 women agricultural labourers from Karnataka’s Bidar district heading home after work. It was taking a U-turn near Satwar village in Zaheerabad mandal when the tanker, travelling from Mumbai to Hyderabad, rammed into it around 8:30 pm. Four died on the spot; two later succumbed in hospital. The injured are being treated in Zaheerabad and Sangareddy hospitals, with two in critical condition. Siasat.com reports the death toll rose to six late on August 10 as another woman succumbed. The labourers were daily wagers from Bidar.
