# 2.9 lakh voters restored, 85 Karnataka constituencies see ASDDO spike

Nearly 3 lakh voters have been restored to Karnataka's electoral rolls after being wrongly marked on the ASDDO list, according to Times of India. The biggest correction happened in Bengaluru Urban, which saw a reduction of over 89,000 names. However, The Hindu reports that at least 85 Assembly constituencies recorded a rise in ASDDO entries even after 100% digitisation of enumeration forms. In Mysuru, all 11 constituencies saw increases in the 'duplicate' or 'already enrolled' category. The Chief Electoral Officer's office attributes the discrepancies to reclassification between categories or late flagging by political parties.
