Challa Hemasri, an 8th-grade student at Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya, had a cold and fever when her parents took her to RMP Sampath at Baswapuram. Sampath gave her an intravenous injection. The girl immediately developed breathing difficulties and was rushed to a private hospital, where doctors declared her dead. Her father lodged a negligence complaint. Police said a breath analyser test showed the RMP had consumed alcohol.
