Patna: State road construction minister and BJP MLA from Bankipur, Nitin Nabin, on Sunday laid the foundation stone for widening and strengthening over 30 roads worth Rs 22 crore in Patna.
He also launched the construction of a community hall near the Bankipur Zonal Office in Ward 36 under the Chief Minister’s Comprehensive Urban Development Scheme, at an estimated cost of Rs 1 crore.At the event, Nabin announced the expansion and strengthening of Vivekananda Marg from Boring Road to Panchmukhi Hanuman Temple, which will improve connectivity between wards 22 and 23.“The 9-km-long road network will connect major roads like Indira Sinha Path, Rajendra Path, and Veer Shivaji Path, benefiting over 30 roads in the area. The project will ease traffic congestion, provide better connectivity for students, and ensure safe and smooth travel for citizens,” he said.He also outlined more than 35 mast light installations in Patna, 19 community buildings, water supply schemes in several areas, a waste-to-wonder park, an underground subway, and other key projects.
