HYDERABAD
Several Congress leaders, including former ZPTC/MPTC Members, MPPs, municipal chairpersons, councillors, sarpanches, and others from Medak Assembly constituency, including those from sitting Congress MLA’s native place Korvipally, joined the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) here on Monday.
At a meeting organised in Telangana Bhavan, those joining BRS from the ruling Congress said they were unable to sail with the high-handed attitude of the sitting MLA and his single point agenda of asking the party ranks to ‘criticise KCR, KTR, Harish Rao round-the-clock’ instead of focusing on the development of the constituency and fulfilling the promises made.
They stated that they had realised the mistake of supporting those who were not interested in development of the area but only interested in practising dirty politics. They were welcomed into BRS by working president K.T. Rama Rao, senior leader T. Harish Rao and former legislators M. Padma Devender Reddy, P. Shashidhar Reddy, Seri Subhash Reddy, Ravula Chandrasekhar Reddy and others.
