# Aadarsha Kutumbam likely shifting to Dasara, makers yet to confirm 2026-08-25T18:28:39+00:00 | Entertainment | Indian Opinion Desk Corroboration: 2 independent outlets Trivikram and Venkatesh's family drama Aadarsha Kutumbam, announced for Gandhi Jayanthi on October 2, may now release during the Dasara holiday period around October 15 or 16, according to trade buzz. The makers have not confirmed the shift. TeluguCinema reports the film would be the only major Telugu release that weekend, with Chiranjeevi's Vishwambhara facing an indefinite delay. TrackTollywood reports the possible delay is linked to speculation that Rajinikanth's Jailer 2 may postpone its October 15 release date due to post-production work, potentially opening the Dasara window. The same outlet notes Jailer 2's first single Alelo Bolelo received a mixed response. If Aadarsha Kutumbam does shift, it would be positioned closer to Dasara while maintaining a safe gap from other releases. An official confirmation from either film team is awaited. Sun Pictures is expected to clarify Jailer 2's release date soon, which will determine the Dasara release calendar. ## Indian Opinion Analysis TeluguCinema treats the Aadarsha Kutumbam date shift as a routine industry update, framing Dasara as simply an attractive window because no major Telugu film is ready. TrackTollywood builds the same rumour into a domino-effect narrative driven by Jailer 2's own postponement buzz and the mixed response to its first single. The critical difference is causal direction: one outlet implies Aadarsha Kutumbam's makers are choosing Dasara, the other implies they are reacting to Rajinikanth clearing that slot. Without a maker or studio confirmation on either film, the trade speculation itself is the story's only concrete fact. Sun Pictures is expected to announce Jailer 2's final date within days. ## Coverage Coverage: 2 sources, 2 neutral - telugucinema.com (neutral report) Leads with Aadarsha Kutumbam's delay as autonomous choice, omits Jailer 2 buzz entirely - tracktollywood.com (neutral report) Frames Aadarsha Kutumbam shift as reaction to Jailer 2's possible postponement This brief was synthesised by AI from the 2 sources linked above, so one read covers every framing they carry.
