# Abhishek Malhan raises Rs 20 lakh for flood-hit Assam temple

YouTuber Abhishek Malhan, known as Fukra Insaan, has begun rebuilding a Hanuman temple damaged in the Assam floods, with a total commitment of Rs 20 lakh. He contributed Rs 5 lakh personally, and the True Hope Foundation added Rs 15 lakh, as per Hindustan Times. Malhan shared footage of the foundation-laying ceremony in Simalguri, Golaghat district. Golaghat is the worst-hit area, with over 71,000 people affected since floods began on July 19. Malhan also distributed mattresses, gas stoves, and water purifiers, and promised to rebuild seven houses from scratch and repair three battery rickshaws.
