# Actor Pradeep Rawat Dies, Blood Cancer Reports Unconfirmed

Veteran actor Pradeep Rawat has died, actor Yashpal Sharma said in a social media tribute, Bollywood Hungama reports. Rawat’s family has not disclosed his cause of death. Times Now News reports that the 74-year-old died at Mumbai’s Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital after battling blood cancer, but Bollywood Hungama says those reports remain unconfirmed. Rawat gained national attention as Ashwatthama in Mahabharat and appeared in Agneepath, Sarfarosh and Lagaan. He played both title roles in the 2005 Tamil film Ghajini and the 2008 Hindi remake opposite Aamir Khan.
