A tempo carrying five people plunged into a water-filled drain in Agra's Nagla Bihari area on Saturday after rainwater made the road edge invisible. India Today reports the pit was dug for a sewage treatment plant and became a death trap during continuous showers. The driver lost control near Prakash Nagar. Local residents and police from Trans Yamuna and Etmaddaula stations rescued all five. A crane later pulled out the tempo. The injured were taken to hospital.
