# Ai+ commits Rs 100 crore to smartphone security testing

Indian smartphone brand Ai+ has launched Project Trust+, committing Rs 20 crore a year for five years, or Rs 100 crore, to improve device security. The programme invites independent researchers, developers and ethical hackers to test Ai+ smartphones, challenge its security architecture and report vulnerabilities before they affect consumers. Rediff describes Project Trust+ as a bug bounty programme, while Hindustan Times presents it as a broader community security initiative. Ai+ CEO Madhav Sheth said the company wants to build trust through transparency and collaboration. Rediff reports that Ai+, launched in September 2025, recorded Rs 965 crore in its first fiscal year and is targeting more than Rs 7,500 crore in the current fiscal year.
