# एम्स में 209 किलो मरीज की सफल सर्जरी, 32 दिन में 49 किलो घटा वजन

एम्स दिल्ली के डॉक्टरों ने 209 किलोग्राम वजन वाले 32 वर्षीय युवक की सफल बैरिएट्रिक सर्जरी की। मरीज का पेट 198 सेंटीमीटर था और बीएमआई 74 तक पहुंच गया था। सामान्य ऑपरेशन टेबल पर न लिटाए जा सकने के कारण पहले 32 दिनों तक बहुत कम कैलोरी वाला आहार, श्वसन फिजियोथेरेपी और मनोचिकित्सकीय सहायता दी गई। इस दौरान वजन 172 किलो और पेट का घेरा 178 सेंटीमीटर हो गया। 24 जुलाई को लेप्रोस्कोपिक गैस्ट्रिक बाईपास सर्जरी दो घंटे दस मिनट में पूरी हुई। अब मरीज का वजन 160 किलो है और वह बिना सहारे चल-फिर सकता है।
