The posts include 14 government-sponsored seats and 21 open (unreserved) seats across departments such as Anaesthesiology, Biochemistry, Ophthalmology, Pharmacology, and Paediatrics. Course duration is 12 months for most subjects, except Vitreo Retinal Surgery which is two years. Candidates must apply online via a Google Form link and pay the fee through RTGS/NEFT by 5:00 PM on 9 November 2026. The application fee is Rs 1,000 for unreserved and OBC candidates, and Rs 500 for SC, ST, and EWS candidates. Selection will be based on a hybrid mode interview scheduled for 26 November 2026. Age limit is 45 years with relaxations as per government norms. ## Indian Opinion Analysis The 35 fellowships span a wide range of specialities, with open seats outnumbering sponsored ones 21 to 14. Candidates sponsored by a government body are paid by their sponsoring authority, while open candidates receive pay equivalent to a first-year Academic Senior Resident under the central residency scheme. The short online window, closing 9 November, and the single hybrid interview on 26 November put pressure on applicants to prepare documentation quickly. ## Coverage - freejobalert.com Straight factual listing of vacancies, dates, and fees.
