India Today reports that Patel was arrested in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar after he failed to appear in court and a warrant was issued. Police had earlier alleged that he provided shelter to Khan, whose residence and office were demolished by authorities. Khan, who is pregnant, received bail in July. The case began in March 2026 after allegations surfaced at a TCS-linked BPO unit in Nashik. India Today reports that an SIT is investigating nine related cases and that TCS has suspended employees allegedly involved in the sexual harassment case.
