# Akhil Akkineni’s Lenin television premiere set for August 30 on ZEE Telugu 2026-08-21T02:47:49+00:00 | Entertainment | Indian Opinion Desk Corroboration: 1 independent outlet The Telugu film 'Lenin', starring Akhil Akkineni, will have its satellite television premiere on ZEE Telugu on August 30, 2026 at 5:30 PM. Directed by Murali Kishor Abburu, the movie has already earned strong responses in theatres and on the OTT platform, marking a major hit for Akhil after several years. Bhagyashri Borse played the female lead in the film. The supporting cast includes Pramod Panju, Shivaji, Easwari Rao, Sunil, Brahmaji, and others. Nagarjuna and Naga Vamsi produced the film, with music composed by Thaman. ZEE Telugu has officially announced the premiere date. ## Indian Opinion Analysis Akhil Akkineni has had a mixed run at the box office since his debut, before 'Lenin', his last notable success was 'Most Eligible Bachelor' in 2021. A clean-hit film is therefore crucial for his market value in Telugu cinema. The television premiere on a major channel like ZEE Telugu gives the film a second wind: it will reach a far wider audience beyond the initial theatrical and OTT viewership, resetting the film's commercial metrics. Satellite rights normally come with a fixed fee, but strong television ratings can influence an actor's negotiation power for future projects. The real number to watch now is the TRP rating on August 30, because a high rating could signal that Akhil's stardom has been recharged for mass family audiences. ## Coverage - 123telugu.com Lead focused entirely on the film's success and premiere date with no critical angle, treated as pure entertainment news This story was synthesised by AI from the source linked above.
