Corroboration: 2 independent outlets

The last week of August brings a heavy slate of OTT releases across platforms. Netflix leads with seven titles including the true-crime series 'Death of the Pastor's Wife', documentary 'The Last Salute' about the MiG-21's Indian Air Force run, and the YRF Spy Universe film 'Alpha' starring Alia Bhatt and Sharvari. Prime Video drops six titles, among them the animated 'Batman: Knightfall Part 1' and romantic drama 'The Last Sunrise'. ZEE5's most anticipated release is 'Bandar', directed by Anurag Kashyap and starring Bobby Deol as a former star accused of rape. Prime Video also streams 'Babita Singh Reporting', an investigative thriller with Nimisha Sajayan as a suspended cop, and 'Baredda', a true-crime drama about Argentina's 1992 Barreda murders. JioHotstar brings 'Adults: Season 2'. The week coincides with Raksha Bandhan.

## Indian Opinion Analysis

Both sources list the same titles with near-identical framing, producing uniform straight reporting. The binged.com piece gives capsule reviews for each title, while indiatvnews.com presents a simpler list. Neither outlet editorialises on any release. The balanced reading: viewers have a crowded menu of crime, animation, romance, and comedy. The key figure to watch is whether 'Alpha' draws the largest audience as the latest YRF Spy Universe entry, or whether 'Bandar' sparks more conversation given its topical rape-allegation plot.
