A former student of Zilla Parishad High School at M. Venkatayapalem in Khammam district has supplied RO drinking water daily for two years. Other alumni and retired teachers have donated a water fridge (Rs 25,000), dining tables (Rs 25,000), a kitchen room (Rs 70,000), a school gate (Rs 46,000), a sound system (Rs 50,000), and an electrical bell (Rs 10,000). The 1988-89 batch built a dais and arch. The headmaster said 175 students benefit from these contributions.
