# Amitabh Bachchan greets fans outside Jalsa amid bomb threat 2026-10-25T15:11:51+00:00 | Entertainment | Indian Opinion Desk Corroboration: 3 independent outlets Amitabh Bachchan stepped out of his Juhu residence Jalsa on Sunday (25 October 2026) to greet fans despite a bomb threat email allegedly targeting the veteran actor. The 84-year-old actor was accompanied by his son Abhishek Bachchan. Mumbai Police personnel were deployed near the bungalow, and fans were kept at a distance from the gates. The bomb threat email was reported to Mumbai Police on Friday (23 October 2026). It was received by a school in Bandra-Kurla Complex. News9Live reports the BMC mayor's office also received a threat email targeting Bachchan, singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh and several city-based schools. An investigation is underway. The actor, who is hosting 'Kaun Banega Crorepati', has been advised rest. In a Tumblr post on Friday (23 October 2026), he wrote: 'Yet more rest needed.. adjusting.. thinking and wondering.. the human body and its uniqueness.' ## Indian Opinion Analysis All three outlets report the same event with uniform wire-style neutrality: Amitabh Bachchan's Sunday fan interaction took place under heightened security after a bomb threat email. Times of India and Hindustan Times both lead with the threat and the actor's health update. News9Live foregrounds Bachchan's determination to keep his decades-long tradition despite the alleged threat. No source adopts a critical or partisan framing. The coverage is consistent straight reporting across outlets, with the only variation being which detail each chooses to lead with. The investigation into the email, and the actor's recovery, remain open points. ## Coverage Coverage: 3 sources, 3 neutral - timesofindia.indiatimes.com (neutral report) Straightforward report on the Sunday interaction and bomb threat - hindustantimes.com (neutral report) Factual coverage of the incident and health updates - news9live.com (neutral report) Emphasis on the actor's determination to keep the tradition This brief was synthesised by AI from the 3 sources linked above, so one read covers every framing they carry.
