# Amitabh Bachchan meets fans behind bulletproof glass after threat 2026-11-01T15:41:11+00:00 | Entertainment | Indian Opinion Desk Corroboration: 2 independent outlets Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan appeared behind a bulletproof glass enclosure outside his Mumbai residence ‘Jalsa’ on Sunday, 1 November, to greet fans as part of his weekly ritual. The move follows a bomb threat emailed to a school in the Bandra-Kurla Complex that warned of an attack on his bungalow. Security was significantly tightened, with Bachchan seen standing inside a transparent protective shield rather than in the open as usual. His son Abhishek Bachchan was present and kept a close watch on the crowd and surroundings, according to both aajtak.in and tv9hindi.com. The actor continues to host the quiz show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ and has several film projects lined up, including ‘Kalki 2’, ‘Brahmastra 2’, and ‘Section 84’. ## Indian Opinion Analysis Both aajtak.in and tv9hindi.com report the same facts neutrally: Amitabh Bachchan used a bulletproof shield for his Sunday fan meeting after a bomb threat. Neither outlet adds political slant or editorial judgement. tv9hindi.com gives more space to Abhishek Bachchan’s protective role, calling him a ‘shield’, but stays factual. The uniform coverage confirms the key detail: the actor did not cancel the meeting despite the threat, and security was visibly upgraded. No disagreement exists between the sources. The next scheduled Sunday meeting will show whether the bulletproof arrangement remains permanent. ## Coverage Coverage: 2 sources, 2 neutral - aajtak.in (neutral report) Straight factual report, no editorialising - tv9hindi.com (neutral report) Factual with mild dramatic framing about Abhishek This brief was synthesised by AI from the 2 sources linked above, so one read covers every framing they carry.
