# Amitabh Bachchan Reports 24-Hour Shift Before KBC Season 18 Shoot

Amitabh Bachchan said he worked from 7 am to 7 am the next day before reporting for Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 18. In a blog post cited by ABP Live and Hindustan Times, the 83-year-old actor said the work had to be completed after the show’s first broadcast date was announced. He added that missing the schedule could mean “a job replacement”. KBC Season 18 will premiere on August 10 at 9 pm on Sony Entertainment Television and Sony LIV, with weekday episodes from Monday to Friday. Bachchan has hosted the quiz show since its 2000 debut, apart from Season 3, which Shah Rukh Khan presented. He is also set to appear in the sequel to Kalki 2898 AD.
