# J&K Searches Find Ammunition and Supplies in Poonch, Rajouri

Security forces recovered ammunition from a cave hideout in Poonch during a joint Army and J&K Police search on Wednesday, The Times of India reports. Officials said the haul included two AK rifle magazines, 117 rounds and 17 rounds of 9mm pistol ammunition. Searches continued at two other Poonch sites after reported sightings of suspects, but no contact was made. The Hans India reports a separate hideout discovery in Rajouri’s Bangai forest, where teams found rice, noodles, cooking items, a knife, candles, a blanket and other supplies. Searches continued there. The Times of India also reported operations in Akhnoor and Kathua after intelligence inputs, including an alleged Pakistani drone sighting near Hiranagar. A follow-up search found nothing.
