# Andhra Pradesh Estimated Cancer Cases Reach 78,282 in 2025 2026-08-06T04:23:42+00:00 | India | Indian Opinion Desk Andhra Pradesh recorded an estimated 78,282 new cancer cases and 42,935 cancer-related deaths in 2025, according to a written Rajya Sabha reply by the Union Health Ministry. Both figures were the highest in the state’s five-year series. Estimated new cases rose from 71,970 in 2021 to 73,536 in 2022, 75,086 in 2023 and 76,708 in 2024. Estimated deaths increased from 39,443 in 2021 to 42,063 in 2024. The estimates were prepared by the ICMR-National Institute of Epidemiology.
