She is the only participant from Andhra Pradesh among 20 Indian students chosen from nearly 12,000 registrations across 108 countries. Jessie studies at Zilla Parishad Girls High School and joined through its Atal Tinkering Lab. The selection involved online sessions, an interview and a video submission. She is expected to attend training in New Delhi from 23 August. A launch from Sriharikota has been proposed for 11 October.
