# Andhra softball body plans regional tournaments from November

The Andhra Pradesh Softball Association will hold regional tournaments in Vizianagaram, Kadapa, Ongole and other towns in November and December, its secretary Sura Srinivasa Rao announced on Sunday. The association organised a training camp for umpires and players in Srikakulam over the weekend, along with a seminar on rules and regulations. The national body, recognised in 1961, is keen to revive interest in the game, which requires only small grounds, Rao said.
