# Andhra University to hold biotech faculty development programme

Andhra University's Department of Biotechnology will run a five-day Faculty Development Programme on emerging biotech frontiers from August 24 to 28. The Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan-funded course will cover artificial intelligence in biotechnology, fermentation technology and biomanufacturing. Vice-Chancellor G.P. Raja Sekhar unveiled the poster on Friday. Head of Department P. Radhika said the programme will use expert lectures and interactive sessions, targeting faculty in biotechnology, microbiology and biochemistry from Andhra University and its affiliated colleges.
