# Google Tap to Share now available on Pixel phones, Samsung soon

Google has started rolling out Tap to Share for Quick Share, a feature that lets compatible Android phones exchange contact information, photos, videos, and other files by simply tapping the top edges together. The feature is initially available on Pixel 6 and newer models, including the latest Pixel 11 series. Google says it will soon reach the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, Galaxy Z Fold8, and Galaxy Z Flip8, with support for other Android 17 or newer devices following by the end of 2026. To use Tap to Share, users unlock both phones, bring them close, and select the content to share. The connection is established automatically without manually searching for nearby devices. Both Hindustan Times and Gadgets360 report the feature is rolling out now, though Gadgets360 refers to it as Tap to Send.
