The Andhra Pradesh Board of Intermediate Education released the Intermediate Public Examinations (IPE) March 2025 results for students of first and second year on Saturday (April 12, 2025).
A statement released by the BIE secretary Kritika Shukla said in the general stream that a total 4,22,030 second-year students appeared for the exam and 3,51,521 of them cleared it, registering 83% of pass percentage. Among the 4,87,295 first-year students who wrote the exam, 3,42,979 of them passed (70 %).
In the vocational stream, a total of 33,289 second-year students appeared and 25,707 (77%) of them passed. Similarly, out of the 38,553 first-year students who wrote the exam, 23,991 (62 %) of them cleared it.
A total of 10,17,102 Intermediate students had appeared for the public examination and of them, 5,25,848 were from the first year, while 4,91,254 of them were from the second year.
In the Inter second-year exams, the highest pass percentage is secured by Krishna (93%), Guntur (91%) and NTR (89%), while ASR district secured the lowest of 73%. In the first year examination too, Krishna (85%), Guntur (82%) and NTR (81%) are on the top, while Chittoor district is at the lowest with 54% pass percentage.
The result of the examinations are available on the website https://resultsbie.ap.gov.in. Students can also secure their results through ‘Mana Mitra’ WhatsApp number at 9552300009 by sending a “Hi’ message.
Recounting and reverification
The BIE Secretary said all efforts have been made for correct valuation of answer book in all aspects. However, there is a provision for the first and second year candidates to apply for Recounting (RC) and supply of scanned copy cum Re-verification (RV) of the valued answer scripts. Students can apply for recounting and reverification from April 13 to April 22, 2025.
Supplementary Exams
The Intermediate Public Advanced Supplementary Examinations (IPASE) May-2025 theory exams will be held from May 12 to May 20, 2025 in two sessions, 9 a.m. to 12 noon and 2.30 p.m. to 5.30 p.m.
Students can appear for failed subjects and also for improvement of marks, she said, informing that IPASE practical exams would be conducted from May 28 to June 1, 2025 at district headquarters only. Students can make payment of the examination fee for IPASE 2025 at the college level from April 15 to April 22, 2025, she added.
