# AP monsoon session from Aug 17 for four days

Andhra Pradesh Governor S. Abdul Nazeer has summoned the State Legislature for a four-day monsoon session starting August 17. The Assembly and Legislative Council will meet at 9 am and 10 am respectively. TDP legislators say the session will run from Monday to Thursday, concluding on August 20 as Varalakshmi Vratam falls on August 21. The newly built quarters for MLAs and MLCs in Amaravati will be handed over by APCRDA to the General Administration Department on August 13. Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu is expected to attend. Discussions in the House are likely to cover Amaravati capital works progress, the Polavaram project, El Niño impact, farmers' issues, and other State matters.
