B. Aparajith, 32, has made himself unavailable for the Tamil Nadu Premier League Season 10 as a player despite being fit, instead signing up as mentor for his former franchise, Chepauk Super Gillies. The Hindu reports that Aparajith, who led the team in 2024 and 2025, described the move as well thought-out. He said he is enjoying the new role and sharing his experience with players.
