The Education department’s tableau on ‘Samagra Siksha’ took second place, while the Energy department’s entry by APSPDCL and the Tirupati Urban Development Authority won third and consolation prizes respectively. Minister for Endowments Anam Ramanarayana Reddy hoisted the flag and received a guard of honour. He also handed over a cheque for Rs 1,031 crore in bank linkages to 74,956 members of 10,351 self-help groups.
