# Apple secures cheaper OLED panels for iPhone 18 Pro Max

Apple will pay significantly less for OLED panels on the iPhone 18 Pro Max than it does for the current iPhone 17 Pro Max panels, reports Gadgets360. The company currently pays between $110 (about Rs 10,500) and $120 (roughly Rs 11,500) per screen. Meanwhile, Livemint reports that the iPhone 18 Pro series is expected to launch on 9 September, with an A20 Pro chipset on TSMC's 2nm process, a variable aperture main camera, and a battery exceeding 5,000mAh on the Pro Max. New colours and a possible price hike of up to $200 are also rumoured.
