The SIT, formed in February 2026 on High Court orders, alleged irregularities across three evaluation exercises: the original digital valuation in 2021, a manual valuation at a private resort after a court order, and a second manual valuation in 2022 under the then YSRCP government. The probe found that unauthorised evaluators, private email accounts, and Google Drive links were used for digital evaluation, with the PSC paying Rs 1.38 crore to private agencies. The SIT said answer scripts stayed in a private agency's custody for 84 days, and that 95 percent of answer scripts in the second manual valuation showed alterations.
