Corroboration: 4 independent outlets

Actor Arjun Bijlani and his wife Neha Swami Bijlani have apologised after Neha was seen wearing a T-shirt featuring Urdu text referring to the Prophet Mohammed. The couple said they were 'completely unaware' of the writing's meaning and that the garment was a gift from a fan in Bangkok. They said there was no intention to hurt religious sentiments. In a joint statement shared on social media on 14 October, they condemned the 'trolling, abusive language, curses and threats' directed at Neha as 'deeply distressing and unacceptable'. They added that a mistake from lack of awareness should not lead to online harassment. The couple promised to be more careful with gifts in future and urged the public to respond with understanding.

## Indian Opinion Analysis

All four outlets report the same facts: Arjun and Neha Bijlani apologised for a T-shirt with Urdu words referring to the Prophet, said the shirt was a fan gift from Bangkok, and condemned online threats against Neha. The coverage is uniform straight reporting with no discernible slant. Every outlet leads with the apology and the couple's explanation. Indian Express and Times Now also name the text as 'Allah, Rasool, Muhammad', while the others describe it generically as Urdu words about the Prophet. None of the outlets add independent comment or challenge the couple's account. The story remains a single-event clarification with no named next step.
