# Ashwin tips Eoin Morgan as next CSK head coach

Ravichandran Ashwin has named former England captain Eoin Morgan as a strong contender to replace Stephen Fleming as Chennai Super Kings head coach. Fleming left after five IPL titles and two underwhelming seasons. Ashwin said on his YouTube channel that Morgan's name is prominent in early discussions, but it is unclear if he will take charge immediately or after December's mini auction. Ashwin also said MS Dhoni should lead the transition, calling it the franchise's correct route for at least the next year. Morgan has no coaching experience at any level.
