Fresh clashes erupted on Thursday between protesters from Assam and Arunachal Pradesh along the border in Dhemaji district, prompting police to fire warning shots. The violence came on the second day of an indefinite economic blockade called by the Takam Mising Porin Kebang (TMPK) after a firing incident at Bodoti on Tuesday left 11 indigenous Assamese people injured.
