# Astrologer Venu Swamy predicts marital issues for Deepika, Sonakshi 2026-08-18T12:57:42+00:00 | Entertainment | Indian Opinion Desk Corroboration: 1 independent outlet Telugu astrologer Venu Swamy has made fresh predictions about Bollywood couples Deepika Padukone-Ranveer Singh and Sonakshi Sinha-Zaheer Iqbal, stirring online attention. In a podcast with Eha TV, Swamy claimed that Padukone and Singh could face marital issues after their second child is born. The couple is expecting their second baby, their first daughter Dua having been born in September 2024. Swamy also predicted that Sinha and Iqbal, who married in June 2024 under the Special Marriage Act, could face problems after June 2027. This is not his first controversial forecast: in 2024, he faced backlash and a complaint to the Telangana State Women's Commission after predicting a divorce between actors Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala. Neither Padukone nor Sinha has responded to the latest predictions. ## Indian Opinion Analysis The coverage from Siasat.com frames Venu Swamy's predictions as newsworthy and 'explosive,' leading with his controversial persona and past backlash. It emphasizes the virality of his claims and the lack of response from the celebrities, which can be seen as sensationalist framing that prioritizes drama over substance. A careful reader should note that these astrological predictions are unsubstantiated and have previously drawn formal complaints, indicating they are more about generating online attention than reliable news. The story offers no expert counterpoint or context on the harm of such speculation. The next development to watch is whether any of the named celebrities or their representatives issue a statement or take legal action. ## Coverage Coverage: 1 source, 1 sensationalist - siasat.com (sensationalist) Leads with 'explosive predictions' and viral social media reaction, omitting any critical perspective on astrology This story was synthesised by AI from the source linked above.
