The car he was travelling in lost control and hit the divider under the Poonch police station limits in Jhansi district. Abaan was on his way to meet his elder brother lodged in a Jhansi jail. Another person, identified as Sonu, also died in the crash. Two others critically injured are being treated at Montha Community Health Centre. Police reached the spot, carried out rescue operations, and began legal proceedings.
