# Awarapan 2 crosses Rs 37 crore in two days, reports differ

Emraan Hashmi’s Awarapan 2 earned around Rs 15.21 crore in India by 5 pm on Saturday, taking its two-day net total to over Rs 37.21 crore, Hindustan Times reports, citing Sacnilk. The film had opened at Rs 22 crore net on Friday, its biggest opening as a lead actor. Saturday occupancy rose from 32% in morning shows to 70% in the afternoon. Koimoi puts the film’s Friday India net collection at Rs 23.4 crore and its worldwide gross at Rs 29.61 crore, including Rs 2 crore overseas. It says the film came within Rs 46 lakh of Emraan Hashmi’s previous release Haq’s lifetime worldwide gross. The Nitin Kakkar-directed sequel also stars Disha Patani and Shabana Azmi.
