Corroboration: 3 independent outlets

Ayesha Khan has sparked engagement speculation after posting photos on Instagram in which she is seen with a mystery man and a diamond ring. The actress, known for the song 'Shararat' from the film Dhurandhar, captioned the post "A dream." The photos show her in a white dress, embracing the man whose face is hidden. All three outlets report that the post is likely a jewellery brand advertisement. Bollywood Hungama says the ring may be part of a campaign. ABP Live notes that Khan tagged a jewellery brand in the post. Deccan Herald states the photos were quickly identified by fans as a promotional shoot rather than a real proposal. Khan has not confirmed an engagement. Khan recently made headlines for being detained by Mumbai Police during a student protest, a story covered by Deccan Herald. She was a contestant on Bigg Boss 17 and previously accused ex-boyfriend Munawar Faruqui of cheating.
