Bandla Ganesh and BVS Ravi strongly criticised social media trolls targeting Chiranjeevi during his birthday celebrations on August 22. The speakers defended the veteran actor against allegations that he had suppressed or blocked people in the film industry. The trolling had escalated over the past month, particularly after the release of Varun Tej's film Korean Kanakaraju, in which a comedy scene imitating NTR was misinterpreted by some fans. Greatandhra.com reports that both speakers emphasised Chiranjeevi never pulled anyone down and always encouraged talent. Bandla Ganesh, despite his ties with TDP groups, attacked the trolls from the stage. BVS Ravi compared the trolls to dogs and called them 'picchi vedhavalu.' The event also saw Hyper Aadi and Bobby repeating similar defences, making it clear the Mega camp was upset by the sustained online attacks. The trolling also drew on references to Chiranjeevi's old films like Chantabbayi and coincided with unhappiness among some sections over Nagababu receiving a cabinet-rank position. Mega fans countered by posting old clips of Chiranjeevi helping others. The birthday speeches indicated the Mega camp will not stay silent when the actor is targeted.

## Indian Opinion Analysis

Both greatandhra.com articles report the same event with identical framing: the Mega camp is united in defending Chiranjeevi from social media trolling. The coverage is uniform straight reporting, with no pro-government or critical slant. The articles list the speakers and their remarks without editorial judgement. A careful reader should note the underlying context: the trolling stems from a mix of fan rivalry over a comedy scene and political discontent over Nagababu's appointment. The measured takeaway is that the Mega camp's response signals a zero-tolerance stance on attacks against Chiranjeevi, and the online battle is likely to continue as long as these triggers persist.
