The victims mother told police that the women threatened to frame him in a police case, leaving him severely stressed. The man lived with his parents and worked from home. His mother said his friends informed her on August 6 that he had been in a relationship with one of the accused while studying in Bangalore. After the relationship soured, the woman and her older sister began threatening him. The mother received a text on her younger sons phone threatening to lodge a complaint.
