Sunny Deol-starrer Batwara 1947 collected Rs 5.75 crore net in India on its opening day, according to NDTV and Business Today. Business Today reported a domestic gross of Rs 6.84 crore, while Koimoi put it at Rs 6.79 crore. Koimoi reported worldwide gross earnings of Rs 8.29 crore, whereas NDTV cited Rs 8.34 crore.
