# Batwara 1947 Trailer Events Set for Jaipur and Mumbai

The trailer for Batwara 1947 is scheduled to be unveiled at Jaipur’s Raj Mandir cinema on 28 July. A media and fan event is planned in Mumbai on 29 July. Sunny Deol and director Rajkumar Santoshi are expected in Jaipur. Producer Aamir Khan is also expected at both events, though his attendance has not been confirmed. The film stars Sunny Deol, Shabana Azmi, Preity Zinta, Ali Fazal and Karan Deol. Set during Partition, it follows a Muslim family moving from Lucknow to Lahore and occupying a haveli left by a Hindu family. The story is based on Syed Asghar Wajahat’s play Jis Lahore Nai Dekhya.
