A BCCI source said talks are on with the Indian High Commission, and a window will be created only after the government's green light. Relations with the Bangladesh Cricket Board have improved after earlier tension over BCCI asking Kolkata Knight Riders to release Bangladesh bowler Mustafizur Rahman, who was bought for Rs 9.20 crore at the IPL 2026 auction. Bangladesh had then refused to play in the 2026 T20 World Cup in India.
