# Bee attack on BJP’s Tiranga Yatra in MP injures 40 workers

According to Deccan Herald, a swarm of bees attacked the BJP's Tiranga Yatra in Dewas district on Friday, injuring around 40 workers. One person was seriously hurt after being stung around 200 times, said BJP rural mandal president Atul Sharma, who was also injured. A DJ vehicle accompanying the procession hit a beehive in a tree, instantly releasing hundreds of bees. More than 500 BJP workers on motorcycles were participating. Several workers hid in a soybean field. The injured were treated at different hospitals and are stable, said Dr Kamal Kishore of Mahatma Gandhi District Hospital.
